If you are a fan of Roald Dahl's books, you will love our new Pockets of Time for Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Fortunately For You Books provides you with a hands-on reading comprehension tool for your students to go along with Roald Dahl's book Fantastic Mr. Fox. While the story is fun and fast paced, you can be sure your child is following the story line and catching details in each chapter. This specially designed program gives visual and hands-on learners the link between what they read and what they process. The student reads the color coded cards and then begins reading the chapter. As he comes across events, he pust the cards in order into the pockets. While a simple concept, this reinforcement works fantastically with reluctant readers. The end result is the same as many other comprehension tools, but is designed for the non classical learner.

It's so important to draw attention to reading, and attract reluctant readers to it,especially boys. In fact, I've recently completed a feature magazine article on this subject that came out in October, "Help for Struggling, Reluctant Readers."

I grew up as a reluctant reader, in spite of the fact that my father published over 70 books. Now I write action-adventures & mysteries, especially for tween boys, that avid boy readers and girls enjoy just as much.

My blog, Books for Boys http://booksandboys.blogspot.com is dedicated to drawing attention to the importance of reading. And my new book, Lost Island Smugglers - first in the Sam Butler Adventure Series - coming out in June.

Keep up your good work.
